Job Description

Our outstanding team of committed skills trainers provides one-on-one ABA-based treatment to young children with autism in our clients’ homes, schools, and ABI’s center. With the guidance and ongoing training of our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), our skills trainers follow structured teaching plans to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors. We provide comprehensive initial and ongoing training and support to each of our skills trainers and offer ongoing opportunities for advancement.

Part-time and full-time positions are available.

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic applicants to work in areas such as:

  • San Fernando Valley
  • Santa Clarita Valley
  • Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena
  • Central Los Angeles (Mid-Wilshire, Hancock Park, and Koreatown)

What We Need from You

  • Passion and enthusiasm for helping children, including ability to be silly and have fun!
  • Prefer, but do not require, bachelor’s degree in psychology, child development or a related field
  • High School Diploma
  • Previous experience working with children (including babysitting or volunteering)
  • Willingness to travel to clients’ homes and schools
  • A valid California Driver’s License & proof of auto insurance, if you elect to drive your own vehicle between work assignments
  • Must pass TB test
  • Must pass criminal background check
