**Your role and responsibilities**
As a Security Consultant in CISO's M&A Security team, you play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor and expert to guide and manage Due Diligence and Integration with IBM's acquistions. Your primary responsibility is to execute on M&A playbooks and problem solve challenges along the way to leverage your expertise to design and implement optimal security solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our stakeholders. Your technical skills will be crucial in finding the delicate balance between enabling and securing IBM acquistions, utilizing cognitive solutions that have contributed to making IBM the fastest-growing enterprise security business globally.
Key Responsibilities:
-Client Advisory:
Act as a primary advisor for IBM clients, understanding their business requirements and providing strategic insights into security solutions.
-Solution Design and Implementation:
Utilize your technical acumen to design and implement security solutions that align with the specific needs and challenges of each client.
-Balancing Security and Enablement:
Find the optimal balance between enabling and securing the client's organization, ensuring that cognitive solutions contribute to both efficiency and robust security.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
-Cybersecurity Expertise: Demonstrated cybersecurity experience in various roles, such as security analyst, security architect, risk management, or audit.
-Architecture Management: Proven track record in managing architecture design within complex hybrid cloud environments, encompassing both infrastructure and application development.
-Project Experience: Successful project experience involving legacy and emerging technologies, demonstrating the ability to assess and manage business risk while enforcing robust security controls.
-Technical Proficiency: 2 - 3 years of experience - Deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with various platforms, including Windows, Linux, AIX, Mainframe, etc. Ability to bridge the strategic and technical aspects of both traditional security and cloud security.
-Security Controls and Technologies: Extensive knowledge of security controls and technologies, staying abreast of the latest developments in the cybersecurity landscape.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
-Proven Experience as a Security Consultant:
Established track record of success as a Security Consultant, demonstrating expertise in advising clients on security solutions.
-Analytical and Problem-Solving Excellence:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at addressing complex security challenges with precision.
-Technical Proficiency in Security Solutions:
Technical proficiency in implementing security solutions tailored to diverse business requirements.
