Job Description

Korzen Health seeks a part-time Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) available 2days/week for our Wound Care Clinic program in the Winter Haven, FL market area, in collaboration with Winter Haven Hosp and Healogics. 

Few key points:

• Outpatient wound care clinic, exclusively dedicated to procedural wound care
• Our standard work hours are daytime hours averaging around 40 hours per week. There are no night shifts, on-call responsibilities, holiday hours, or weekend hours
• Patients are seen by appointment only; walk-ins are not accepted. 
• The clinic is integrated with UF Health Leesburg Hospital, and the candidate will be employed by Healogics
• Procedure-oriented environment primarily serving geriatric patients
• Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy training available
• Full clinical team will be in place from the start date

Scope of Practice Highlights:

• Full Team support includes Case Manager, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Nurses, Office Manager, and Front/Back End Support.
• We offer advanced wound-care treatments to promote healing, including: Cellulitis therapy, compression therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, infection management and prevention, wound cleaning, and wound dressing.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• MD or DO degree

• Must be Board-Certified

• Clear and Active State Medical License and a DEA License
