Job Description

DESCRIPTION

Amazon is committed to building a sustainable business for our employees, customers, and communities. From leading The Climate Pledge to our goal of Net Zero Carbon by 2040, Amazon continues to drive industry transformation. Deploying a fleet of 100,000 electric delivery vehicles is one of the most impactful levers we have—and the technology, automation, and intelligent systems behind that fleet are critical to our success.

Amazon’s Global Fleet Electrification & Infrastructure (GFP E&I) team is seeking a results-driven leader with strong business judgment and cross-functional collaboration skills to own planning and automation initiatives for our electrification and infrastructure supply chain. Our Program Managers are high-energy self-starters who thrive on building scalable, tech-enabled mechanisms that connect engineering, sourcing, logistics, and construction to deliver critical EVSE to Amazon’s fleet-charging sites worldwide.

As a member of the Electrification & Infrastructure Supply Chain team, you will own material readiness and end-to-end automation strategy across the Americas to support Amazon’s rapidly expanding fleet-electrification network. This role’s primary focus is to design and operationalize next-generation forecasting, AI-supported demand-planning models, and automated data pipelines for key electrical systems—including switchgear, transformers, rectifiers, and chargers. You will work closely with design engineering, deployment, and supplier partners to build an integrated, data-driven planning tool that aligns global supply with real-time demand signals.

You will also be responsible for tracking and auditing material status from purchase order through site delivery, ensuring supply continuity, reducing latency in data handoffs, and implementing proactive, tech-driven strategies to mitigate risk and accelerate deployment. Additionally, you will architect and implement automation workflows (including ETL pipelines, dashboarding, and exception-handling mechanisms) to eliminate manual work, improve data quality, and increase operating efficiency across the supply chain.

Key job responsibilities
Lead end-to-end materials management for power distribution products and chargers across global projects.

Develop and execute demand- and supply-planning processes ensuring on-time equipment availability aligned with deployment schedules.

Partner with Engineering, Sourcing, and Construction to translate design changes and forecasts into executable procurement plans.

Manage Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cadence for electrification hardware, integrating supplier lead-times and manufacturing constraints.

Build and automate forecasting models using internal data pipelines and supplier inputs to improve accuracy and reduce inventory exposure.

Drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives.

Track global inventory, shipments, and at-risk materials; mitigate disruptions through proactive allocation and supplier collaboration.

Support business reviews and executive updates on supply continuity, delivery metrics, and cost performance.

About the team
We are building the largest commercial EV fleet in the world, join us for exciting and challenging infrastructure challenges at an unprecedented scale!

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- Experience communicating technical details verbally and in writing
- Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks
- 6+ years of experience in supply chain management, material planning and/or supply planning role
