Job Description
The Wound Care Provider (MD/DO) reports to the CMO and supervises Nurses & Medical Assistants.
Job Summary: Provides specialized wound care in home, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities, including assessments, care planning, patient education, and collaboration with healthcare teams to promote healing.
Qualifications: Master’s/Doctoral degree in Nursing, current MD/DO licensure, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and wound care certification within 6 months.
Physical & Mental Requirements: Includes physical effort, field travel, and ability to make quick judgments, work independently, and handle emotional stress.
Essential Functions: Reassessing wounds, administering treatments, supervising staff, documentation, coordinating care, and ensuring safety protocols.
