Private practice in Northwest Houston looking for a FT Optician - M-F 8:30am - 5pm. Knowledge in Neurolens and Myopia Management a plus. Please submit resume to Heather at SeeClearly@KleinwoodVision.com.

• Be friendly and personable with staff and patients.
• Be able to effectively communicate on the telephone, in person, and in writing.
• Able to use computer systems for sales, ordering, and daily operations.
• Polished high end customer service skills and a real ability to understand your shopper's needs.
• The ability to handle and seek to resolve customer complaints if they arise, with tact and good outcomes.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
• Our office is well equipped with digital eye exam lanes and our staff is very friendly and experienced.

Responsibilities:

• Educate the patients on the best lens options based on Doctors prescription and their individual needs.
• Work up patients during preliminary testing, answer phones, book appointments, look up insurance benefits, order and follow up on lens frame and contacts, check in jobs and notify patients that their materials are ready for pick up.
• Be punctual and reliable.
• Manage multiple tasks while maintaining priorities.
• Be able to work in a stressful environment, deal with stress in a healthy manner and effectively create a positive atmosphere for all staff members.
• Able to meet company goals and achieve advance eye care implementation.
