Compass Government Solutions is seeking qualified Neurology Technicians in support of the Intrepid Spirit Centers – Anomalous Health Incidents program at Eglin Air Force Base. This opportunity is part of a proposal effort. We are currently accepting applications from experienced candidates to be considered if the contract is awarded.

Schedule/Hours:

• Hours of operation: 0600 – 1800
• Typical clinical hours: 0700 – 1600
• 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday
• Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours

Job Duties:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled neurological diagnostic services under the direction of the staff Neurologist.
• Conduct specialized testing and examinations including neurofeedback, EEGs, and evoked potential tests .
• Prepare patients and examination rooms, ensuring all supplies and equipment are available.
• Obtain and record vital signs and physiological measurements.
• Assist with medical treatments, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and wellness practices.
• Maintain, clean, and operate diagnostic/therapeutic equipment according to established standards.
• Ensure documentation meets MTF standards and is completed in MHS Genesis within required timelines.
• Respond to secure portal messages from beneficiaries within one (1) business day.
• Support other clinical departments when directed by the Medical Director.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • Certificate/diploma from a  Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)-accredited national, state, or military-trained school.
• Certifications:
  • Current  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)certification.
  • Board-certified by the  American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic Technologies and/or  Nerve Conduction Studies  or  Evoked Potentials
• Experience:
  • At least 12 months of Neurology Technician experience within the past 24 months (non-consecutive acceptable).
  • At least 1 year of supervisory and trainer experience in a Neurology Lab (civilian or military).
