Job Description

**A Snapshot of Your Day** This position involves serving as the design authority for the SGT-A05 program, defining and cascading module-level requirements to ensure the system meets its specifications. The individual provides design leadership to the program team while adhering to relevant procedures and is responsible for approving designs and definitions. The role supports program design reviews, defines requirements, monitors performance, and approves all design aspects of the SGT-A05. Oversight of design integrity, including robustness, producibility, safety, life, and maintainability, is crucial. The individual also supports manufacturing and production, collaborating with the Head of Engineering to enhance Design Engineer skills, improve the Product Definition Process, and contribute to technology development for producing world-class engine products. **How You'll Make an Impact** + Lead a team of 20 (full-time and contractors) + Approve design and implementation of R&D, new equipment, and services design changes + Work with industry partners and customers to introduce improvements to the product **What You Bring** + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, aerospace engineering or industrial engineering + Experience leading a gas-turbine design and analysis team + Knowledge of small gas turbines systems and components preferred but will consider HLGT + Ability to critically analyze designs changes and system impacts **About the Team** **Who is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
