We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern who will be responsible for performing various tasks to gain exposure to the Finance department of SUSA. As an intern, you will rotate through the FP&A, Finance and Accounting, and Income and Sales Tax functions. You will gain experience with financial statement review, data input and analysis, and financial modeling.
This will be a 10-week summer internship program. The role is based at our Philadelphia office.What You Will Do:
Assist in data collection and analysis to identify process improvement opportunities
Assist in the preparation of month-end financial reporting for SMG staffing expense, general expense, and headcount, including budget and forecast to actual variance analysis. Support the SMG budgeting and forecasting processes by streamlining and managing templates and aggregating data. Assist the FP&A team with a variety of special projects including, but not limited to, reporting, financial analysis, data validation, and process re-design Support Sales Tax by pulling and indexing returns, reviewing past-due notices, and assisting with data migration.
