Summary

The Learning Tree Childcare & Preschool has been serving the families of Portage and the surrounding communities for 50 years. We were open during COVID and since then we have amassed a wait list that we are finally fulfilling. We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team and work in our program. Currently looking to fill the positions in our Infant room (6 weeks-2 year-olds) and/or our Toddler room (2–3-year-olds), an after-school assistant or lead teacher. If you are interested in quality education, then we are interested in you making the Learning Tree the place where you want to work! Schedule hours for these positions are between 6:00am and 5pm. An example, 8:00am-5:00pm with a break M-F.

We reiterate how important it is that the individuals we seek have a passion for teaching and for children. Broad knowledge of child growth & development, classroom management techniques, and developmentally appropriate activities. Must be able to work as a supportive member of our team.

Duties

As a teacher, you ensure children's safety and learning by providing and promoting a program that facilitates their health, growth, and development. Create an environment that motivates them to learn by innovative ideas that teach language, listening, social and physical skills through creative activities.

Requirements

Pass Background Request Check
Be 18 years of age.
Have a registry level of 7 for a lead teacher position
