POSITION SPECIFICS

The Pediatric Clinical Research Office at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine is hiring a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator. The position supports clinical research within the Department of Pediatrics and its twenty divisions.

The main responsibilities of this position are to provide operational oversight of several research projects within the department including several NIH funded studies, clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. This position will also take part in data collection, data entry into appropriate databases, organizing project materials and supporting recruitment and enrollment of research studies. Applicants will be expected to participate in data collection for high- quality research with children The ideal candidate will have a strong background in REDCap data entry and experience working with an Institutional Review Board (IRB). It is important that the candidate have experience working with a team and multiple Principal Investigators projects. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task.

A background in working with children and families is preferred.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree3+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptedRequired Certifications:None

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $56,200.00 - $81,500.00.
